About the role
No prior professional business-development experience is required. Readiness may be demonstrated through school organizations, sales or partnership projects, internships, freelance or volunteer work, research samples, or self-directed outreach. Working with the Business Development Manager and cross-functional partners, you will help identify good-fit opportunities, keep pipeline records accurate, and support conversations that stay honest about XieTech's capabilities.
What you'll do
- Research organizations, sectors, and problems that align with XieTech's strengths and current capacity
- Prepare concise briefs, contact lists, call notes, and follow-up materials for discovery conversations
- Support outreach, scheduling, meeting logistics, and timely follow-through with prospects and partners
- Maintain accurate pipeline records covering stage, next actions, owners, risks, and supporting context
- Help assemble proposals, capability summaries, and presentation materials from approved sources
- Capture questions, objections, and market feedback and share them with business development and product partners
- Keep files, consent records, contact details, and opportunity notes organized and up to date
What you'll bring
- No prior professional business-development experience is required
- Evidence of interest through a school organization, sales or partnership project, internship, freelance or volunteer work, research sample, or self-directed outreach
- Clear written English and the ability to summarize people, organizations, and next steps accurately
- Careful attention to names, dates, commitments, and follow-up timing
- Comfort using spreadsheets, shared calendars, and basic CRM or pipeline tracking tools
- Initiative and ability to manage several small tasks while communicating blockers early
- Integrity and judgment when representing XieTech without overstating product or delivery capability
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CRM tools, proposal writing, or partnership coordination
- Experience supporting events, student organizations, fundraising, or client-facing projects
- Network or market curiosity across Philippine SMEs, technology, or digital transformation
- Filipino-language communication for relationship-building in local contexts
