About the role
With a minimum of two years of relevant DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems engineering, or related experience, you will make delivery safer and more repeatable. In close collaboration with software engineers and security teammates, you will improve cloud environments, deployment automation, and operational visibility for reliable, secure, and cost-conscious products designed around Filipino realities.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that provide fast feedback and controlled, repeatable deployments
- Provision and manage cloud environments through documented infrastructure automation and configuration practices
- Standardize Docker images, container workflows, secrets handling, and environment configuration
- Implement useful monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting for services and infrastructure
- Strengthen reliability through backup, recovery, capacity, security, and incident-response practices
- Track cloud usage and cost drivers, then recommend practical efficiency improvements
- Partner with software engineers to troubleshoot deployments and improve application operability
What you'll bring
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems engineering, or related work
- Practical experience with deployment automation, cloud services, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, or infrastructure operations
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Linux, networking, scripting, and environment configuration
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration-automation practices
- Ability to diagnose failures using logs, metrics, traces, and systematic troubleshooting
- Understanding of cloud security, access controls, secrets, backups, and recovery fundamentals
- Clear and dependable collaboration with distributed product and engineering teams
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or similar tooling
- Familiarity with SRE practices, service-level objectives, or incident facilitation
- Experience optimizing cloud spend for an early-stage organization
- Knowledge of application observability for Java, Node.js, or modern web stacks
