About the role
With a minimum of four years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, reporting, controls, or related finance leadership, you will build trustworthy practices that support responsible decisions and XieTech's long-term mission. Working with leadership, operations, and qualified external partners, you will provide clear visibility into cash, obligations, plans, and tradeoffs.
What you'll do
- Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash-flow planning, and regular management reporting
- Maintain practical expense controls, approval workflows, records, and financial accountability
- Coordinate bookkeeping, reconciliations, period close, and financial-statement preparation
- Support applicable Philippine tax, audit, statutory, and regulatory coordination with qualified partners
- Analyze pricing, investment, hiring, vendor, and operating decisions with clear assumptions and scenarios
- Monitor financial risks, obligations, variances, and control gaps and drive timely follow-up
- Explain financial performance and choices clearly to leaders and non-finance stakeholders
What you'll bring
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, reporting, controls, or related finance leadership
- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and management reporting
- Working knowledge of accounting records, reconciliations, controls, and financial statements
- Understanding of Philippine tax and statutory coordination appropriate to the role's scope
- Ability to model scenarios and communicate assumptions, uncertainty, and decision implications
- High integrity, discretion, accuracy, and reliable handling of confidential financial information
- Practical mindset suited to building right-sized systems for a remote early-stage team
Nice to have
- Experience leading finance projects, processes, contributors, or cross-functional decisions
- CPA qualification or progress toward a relevant professional credential
- Experience supporting a Philippine startup, technology company, or project-based business
- Familiarity with cloud accounting, payroll, expense, or financial-planning tools
- Experience coordinating with auditors, tax advisers, banks, investors, or grant partners
