Mid / Senior Mobile Developer, React Native

About the role

Based on your experience, demonstrated apps, and readiness for ownership, you may be considered for a mid or senior React Native pathway on XieTech product work. You will build and maintain cross-platform mobile experiences alongside product, design, QA, and backend teammates, with a focus on reliability, performance, and practical solutions for Filipino users. This is a XieTech employment engagement, not a client project placement.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain React Native features for iOS and Android using TypeScript or JavaScript
• Integrate mobile clients with REST or GraphQL APIs, including authentication, error handling, and secure storage patterns
• Collaborate with product and design on flows, accessibility, and implementation tradeoffs
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests appropriate to feature risk and release cadence
• Diagnose crashes, performance issues, and device-specific behavior using logging and debugging tools
• Participate in code reviews, estimation, and release support for mobile builds
• Document setup steps, architectural notes, and handoff materials for teammates
• On the senior track, guide technical direction for mobile modules, mentor contributors, and raise engineering standards

What you'll bring

• For the mid pathway: approximately 3 years of professional experience delivering React Native or comparable cross-platform mobile applications to production
• For the senior track: deeper production ownership, including architecture choices, mentoring, and sustained delivery of complex mobile features
• Strong proficiency in React Native, React, and TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience shipping to both iOS and Android, including store or internal distribution workflows
• Working knowledge of mobile navigation, state management, and common performance pitfalls
• Ability to debug native bridges, third-party SDKs, and API integration issues with backend partners
• Clear written communication and accountability in a remote, flexible-time team
• Commitment to building dependable mobile products for Filipino users and businesses

Nice to have

• Experience with Expo, EAS, Fastlane, or mobile CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with secure storage, biometrics, and mobile application security basics
• Exposure to financial wellness, fintech, or regulated data on mobile
• Experience with native iOS or Android development alongside React Native
• Thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools with validation and engineering judgment
